Keeping gender on the agenda!

The biggest names in the Australian music industry have joined forces with Australian Women in Music to support the Australian Women in Music Awards.

AWMA turns the spotlight on women, gender diverse, female artists and music practitioners across all areas of industry and all genres of music.

AWMA recognises the vast contribution of First Nations and multicultural performers and music practitioners, focusing on excellence in artistry, inclusivity, technical and production skills, leadership, cross-cultural development, songwriting, music journalism, music photography, film making, classical music, opera, heavy music, humanitarian work and more.
